How to add rank images?
I tried entering url in the Rank Image (Relative to phpBB2 root path) but it doesn't work. I must enter an url like this :images/avatars/gameportal/488485335421f3fd3d3ed4.gif
Is there another way?

do you have the link to your forum?

(im taking it as your have a phpBB board, because this is in the phpBB support forum)
This is not possible to add ranks to your phpBB board, sorry.

you can add rank images to your forum, use http://imageshack.us/index.php to upload the image, then you the direct link , copy and paste it into Relative to phpBB2 root path box

Actually, that will not work because it adds the URL of your forum in fornt of it.

Founder, make a new username and for the avatar for that username, use the Rank Image you want to use.

Then, right click on the image and get the URL of it. It should look like:
http://majicmantest.7.forumer.com/im...65568756ec.gif

Now, copy everything following the .com. So the direct path to that image would be: /images/avatars/majicmantest/16871675742165568756ec.gif

Now, keep that copied and log in with your admin username/password. You can paste that text in the Rank Image box and it will work because that would be relative to the phpBB root path.

Do you understand what I said above?

I do not mean for you to actually use the image path I said above... I was simply describing how to do it on your board.

"Relative to phpBB2 root path" is just bs, i used imageshacks direct link and rank images work prefectly on my forum

All you have to do is go to the Ranks, edit one and drag the image URL to it.
I use www.photobucket.com and it works fine....

This won't usually work, because the URL has to be 'relative to the phpBB root path', meaning the forum URL will be automatically added infront of the URL entered.

There's tons of places. Start using Google to find things. Anyways here's a site with bunch: http://www.forumimages.com/

And I've never had problem with using a url that was not relative to the phpbb path. I've used imageshack and photobucket to host them before.
