well look i spent ages making this really cool banner, but i cant upload it because of the pixel limit, when i've seen loads of others people with bigger banners than this!!

please help me...

Sorry, but your banner has to abide by the limitations. I doubt you would've seen a Forumer phpBB forum with a banner larger than the limit.

couldn't you just set it to automatically make it smaller, so it does abide, but doesn't go outta shape when i try to manually resize...

Sorry, this is not possible. For Forumer phpBB, you have to have a banner that is within the limitations to be able to upload it. If your banner is not within the limitations, then you can't use it, sorry.

will you take a look at it now please, i put the smaller banner up, but it kinda looks silly as its got stars background, and the rest of the forums is the black and grey lines.
could i set the background to the stars as well??
