Well I have my forum set up and everything, except for the links whenever I click on the sample links it goes back to the forums main age. So I went to go see if I can add my own links and I dont know where to go I tried looking for a guide but I failed. Please help. The truth is I dont know the first thing on setting up the links.

Your forum is a phpBB board, so I'll move this to the appropriate forum.

If you mean that your forum's FAQ links are messed up, this is a known bug. It has been reported, and will be looked into as soon as possible.

Actually I think that because you're using a forumer.com free forum, the links may not be edit-able. I am in the same boat.

Since the email verifaction for users registering was sending broken links, I had to enable User-side activation with a confirmation code. Then I found out that most of the skin templates did not display the registration page with the confirmation code. I switched to the "SubPortal" skin, which displays registration properly.

However, I too would like to know if changing the links on the left hand side of the page is possible with a forumer.com forum.

Thanks

oh, my forum is

that is changing the links in the subPortal if im right? well, the thing with forumer.com's forums is that we cant access the core files of our boards. so, we cant upload anything to it or modify our boards the way we like. this is because forumer.com offers free services. that means there are limitations on it. this are few of forumer.com forum's limitation. we cant upload, modify the core files on our board. if you want you could ask limez to change the link in YOUR subPortal style. which would be too hassle. because take this example, let's say that limez did change your links, and suddenly you decided to change the link again. this would take you to ask limez to do it for you again. which would be to hassle for him because this is not the only work he has to face. so this would imply that changing the link in the subPortal would be too hassle for the mods. and again having a free forum has its limitations but what else can you expect its free...

Simple answer. At the moment you cannot change the Sample Links under the Links box on the subPortal theme. It is possible that there will be an option to do this later on.

first off, no the links can't be changed... yes it's retarded i know. second, limez or whoever you said can't change them either... not on an individual basis that is. whoever created the template could change the source then reissue the template... but the links will still be set. what they need to do is have the option in the admin cp to change that part of the source code. i really don't understand why they haven't yet. it can't be that hard.

anways.. i suppose this thread is "resolved". if thats what you call it.

Oh bliss! Bliss and heaven! Oh, it was gorgeousness and gorgeousity made flesh. It was like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now. As I slooshied, I knew such lovely pictures!
