| Banned User | You should be getting a link like the one you quoted above. Try turning the validation off, by going Admin CP > General Admin > Configuration, and find 'Enable account activation' and set it to 'None'. |

| VIP | You said "What does this mean". As you can look at the link there is no forum name. That was the problem. Did you get it resolved? |

| Active Forumer ![]() | I'm adding to this thread rather than starting a new one because my problem is exactly the same. Members not being provided with the correct link for activation. And I will not switch the activation to "none" because I am having problems with a couple of pesky teenagers who will abuse that without a second thought (they did it to me on Pro Boards - that's why I switched away from it). My forum is http://temptimelord.7.forumer.com The link that my members are getting (and this is an example) is; http://temptimelord.7.forumer.com/?mode=ac...e88d846029a7f83 I would prefer to have the link provided to them as being correct automatically. That's assuming this one is inherently wrong as this thread appears to indicate. |

| VIP | Ok. For now just turn off the activation link (so you can keep on getting new members), till we get this solved. Please refer to this documentaion. http://support.forumer.com/index.php?showtopic=13751 |

| Active Forumer ![]() | That's just not an option for me, Jake - as I explained. I can't have my new forum abused like the Pro Boards one was. |

| Member | seeing this problem also. Inside the email will be a link.....right now that link is bugged and I'm not sure why. You will get a link that looks like: Code: http://bloodlust.7.forumer.com/?mode=activate&u=7&act_key=babcfd68fedd7e2c2xxxx profile.php right after the site name. The fixed link would look like this" Code: http://bloodlust.7.forumer.com/profile.php?mode=activate&u=7&act_key=babcfd68fedd7e2c2xxxx Thanks in advance |

That post doesn't apply to what I am seeing. The name/url of my forum is correct but the profile.php text is missing from the activation link. If you paste it into the link that is in the registration email, it works fine. | ||
