Unfortunately, not without access to the root images directory to your forum. This may be an option in the future, but as of now, it is not possible. Sorry.

yep this is not possible if you intend to upload it to the root image directory of your site. BUT you can do a trick.

are you refering to group pictures or rank images?

do this:

1. create a dummy account. e.g. modbots // this will be used as your moderator.
2. add your rank image to the avatar of modbots.
3. after doing this, you will be able to upload your rank image to the avatar folder.
4. when done uploading, go to the modbots profile. there you will be able to see the avatar [which is intended to be your rank image.]
5. right click on that image. and copy the path of that image.
6. go to your ACP. and access the ranks in the user admin.
7. edit a rank you wish to put the rank image to.
8. paste the link location of the rank image that you copied in the avatar of modbots. this will likely start with "image/avatars/yoursite/filename.gif"

i have attached a file.

Or you can simply upload it with ImageShack or Photobucket instead of uploading it as an avatar.

Your correct. It must be relative to the root path.

Fluffybunny, did you understand the trick stated above?
