OK,

Basically I just signed up to a phpBB2 forum,

I typed in the Access name I wanted "panthersspeedway" and filled in all the other information and completing the registration, and then I discovered, even though I had typed "panthersspeedway" the "y" had been cut off of the end, and now my forum url is:

http://panthersspeedwa.7.forumer.com

and, to be honest, it looks daft and no-one's ever going to remember it!

is there any way someone could please change the access name to "panthersforum" instead?

Thanks in advance.

Ok, as that's not possible....

is it at all possible to copy all the settings over to a new forum? it was quite easy to set up, but I don't really want to go through it all again, and I can't really stick with what i've got, they'll never remember the url!

Another problem, to delete your board, do not log-in for 30 days. But if you just take my advise, though, it would help.

The thing is I don't actually want to change the name of the board, I want to change the URL... The name of the board is fine, the reason I want to change the URl is because no-one is going to remember my board is "panthersspeedwa" are they?

But if I were to do this, i'd have two forums, when I only want one, it's much easily surely just to create a brand new one from scratch and not log into the old one, leaving it to be deleted after 30 days...
