Default Usergroup bug

For the past two days I've been getting this error when I go to look at the list of members of one of my board's usergroups:

Quote:
Error getting user list for group

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'ORDER BY u.username' at line 7

SELECT u.username, u.user_id, u.user_viewemail, u.user_posts, u.user_regdate, u.user_from, u.user_website, u.user_email, u.user_icq, u.user_aim, u.user_yim, u.user_msnm, ug.user_pending FROM inspiredwriters_users u, inspiredwriters_user_group ug WHERE ug.group_id = 39 AND u.user_id = ug.user_id AND ug.user_pending = 0 AND ug.user_id <> ORDER BY u.username

Line : 796
File : groupcp.php
It only does it for one usergroup, the others are fine. Any idea what's up and how I can fix it?

Q: What's wrong?
A: You (or any other admin) have deleted the group moderator. This kinda bug in phpBB2.

Q: Any idea how to fix it?
A1: Send me (PM) your login details and I'll do it for you.
A2: Do a search for my posts containing "group" or "usergroup". The answer is somewhere out there too.

1- Create a temporary user.
2- Using Opera Browser, go to ACP and open the temporary user in a new tab (so you wont have frames).
3- Display the source code.
4- Search for: <input type="hidden" name="id" value="nn" />
Replace with: <input type="hidden" name="id" value="xx" />
Where nn is the id number of the temporary user and xx the id number of the user you want to delete.
5- Click «Reload from cache».
6- In the reloaded page, try to deleted the temporary user but in fact, the unwanted user will be deleted.

No one deleted the usergroup because 1. no one else knows how to probably besides me and I didn't do it 2. I can still see it listed in the admin panel still so it's not deleted.

I'll PM you with the login info for the second admin account I created as a back up.

The issue has been fixed. The user group "Inspired RPers" is accessible now.

The problem was that after deleting user with ID=31 (there is a gap between ennui - 30 and Jasmine Hart - 34), you have lost the access to that group. Such situation should be prevented by phpBB2 software but apparently there is no such check built-in into phpBB2 scripts.

You need to verify wether I have set the appropriate group moderator, change the group description and check the group permissions.

Cheers, Tuitam

I deleted the account of the original person who had been running that usergroup, but only because they were inactive. No one else in that gap that was effected should have made a difference since only one person can be made a moderator of a usergroup.

You chose the right person as the moderator, and I'll look at the permissions. Thanks for fixing it.
