Default SQL Error 1064?

Hi, when I enable the portal to be used as the main page for my site, I get that error when I try to view the site. I havent changed any info for the portal that I am aware of. Could someone help me please? The message of the error is underneath, and this is my site, http://rtsboards.20.forumer.com/

Thanks! (Sorrry I dont know what that prefix is for, but 18 was the closest to mine which is 20, dont yell at me I'm new here lol)

I believe this error is erroring due to the fact that HTML is currently disabled for all forums. This is because it is being updated.

Well a server was hacked recently, so the technical staff has been working to better the HTML on the forums. As a result this may take some time.

The reason why you couldn't use the .18 prefix is because your forum is not IPB, it's phpBB.

For now, turn off the portal so you can access your board. I will write out a report so you can get that problem fixed.

From time to time, try turning on your portal again and see if it works. If not, turn it off again until it's fixed.

This has nothing to do with html being disabled or enabled. First you need to understand mysql statements, then you need to understand how they correspond to certain files when you get errors like this. Just by looking at that error, you are trying to fetch a certain amount of posts to be displayed on your portal page? What are your settings just out of curiosity? I don't think you can fix this, but I would still like to know.

Edit: I just checked further into your problem. Please post a screen shot of your fportal settings, I know exactly what you did wrong. Or, if I'm not around quick enough you will need to change the "news forum" or maybe one of the other settings in your fportal.

notice the ') this means you left that field blank, you need to insert a proper ID into that field, if you don't want that block to show, just enter 0

Ok, well like I said you have to fields blank, you need to enter a forum ID number if you want them to show. If you don't know what a forum ID number is you can simply hover your mouse over the forum link and it will give you the number. Just look at the end of the link example viewforum.php?f=9. f=9 equals the forum ID is 9. If you want to use that forum just simple enter 9, if you want to use multiple forums, just separate the numbers with a comma like 9,7,1 etc etc

Also for security purposes, don't provide a screen shot that has your SID in it, as it could potentially leave a gateway open for someone to hack your admin access.
