Default AOL users can't log in

I use AOL and recently have not been able to access the admin panel with AOL - have been using a different browser. Now I can't log in at all with AOL, and neither can any of my AOL using members. I have a different browser I can use - some of them don't. What is happening?

From what I understand, Forumer has blocked out AOL browsers as well as @aol.com and @aim.com e-mail addresses for better privacy and security purposes.

We recommend that your users use Internet Explorer, Opera or Fire Fox.

Well .. what if they don't want to do that? I don't want to do that, to be honest .. I prefer using AOL . Why does it mean greater security? I am getting ten bots a day as it is .. how many more could I get?

We haven't blocked out AOL. We just don't allow @aol.com email address during forum signup because many times users don't get the activation emails @aol.com

Does it say something on the lines of invalid session when you can't login using AOL?

AOL is notoriously unrelyable in relation to forums, but as Limez said it's not been banned, just the AOL email addresses. Is AOL also not secure then?

I would suggest(if you are a Linux user), to use Konqueror.

AOL users with Internet Explorer can read the forums but not post.
But then, if you sign up to AOL, you deserve what you get! haha!
