We keep getting this error message even when opening or replying for the first time for the day or waiting several minutes or more. We are unable to post at all. We keep getting this message.

You cannot make another post so soon after your last; please try again in a short while.

I used to get that too. You can stop it by changing the Flood Interval in your configuration settings which are located in your admin panel.

Go to your admin panel.

Under the title General Admin will be a link Configuration. Click on it.

Scroll down and look for the text FLOOD INTERVAL. Change it to 5 seconds or under if you like.

This should fix the problem.

I changed it to 1 second. it didn't work.
It's like my forum is frozen in time for just me. I'm the only one it's happening to. It acts like posts I made hours ago were just made. I tried signing out then signing in. I tried rebooting. I tried a Spy sweeper and anti virus program. Nothing seems to work. It's like I'm the only one who can't post on my own forums. It's darn frustrating. I can't see any new posts made since the probablem started this afternnon. I can't reply to any posts either.

Have you tried clearing out your cache, cookies and history?
