| Active Forumer ![]() | I have found a bug in my forum. I found it after an active member changed her email address and then found she could not enter the forum because her activation key did not match the database. Here is what was emailed to her -- Quote:
Just out of curiosity I checked some other new members and found that their accounts were not active either. After checking all of my 200+ members accounts I discovered from February 15th 2006, 15 out of 60 members did not have active accounts. In my configuration I have enabled "User" in the "Enable account activation" section and have enabled "visual confirmation". http://jackiechanforum.6.forumer.com | |

| Active Forumer ![]() | She didn't mention getting an email to validate her account. She only mentioned the deactivation one. I'll ask her. But it's not just happening to regular members. This is also happening to people who just sign up. This morning (Australia time) I checked to see if I had any new members. Out of the 5 that joined today, 2 were not active. |

| Active Forumer ![]() | The member emailed me back and said the only email she got was the one I posted here - the email about deactivation. if she is suppose to get 2 emails, it looks like she only got one. |

| Member ![]() | Hi, I seem to have a similar problem, a few members now have emailed me personally to tell me they can no longer get on, no emails telling them, nothing, I go to admin and they have been deactivated...all have changed there email address? Apologies as I am not technical minded...maybe this is normal forumer practice, but seems a bit strange? |

These deactivations were meant for security I believe, and are part of phpBB and have nothing to do with Forumer or bugs. |
