Hi there,
Does anybody know of a reason that would cause a forum to be removed of its 2 topics?
Pruning was disabled.
Could that be a system failure of some kind or maybe somebody had access to a moderator account?

Please let me know

Did you ask your staff if one of them deleted the topics?

I'm part of this forum, so I can answer, this subforum where messages got deleted is hidden forum for all users but moderators. None of us (moderators) deleted those messages, for sure.

Is it possible to trace who deleted those messages, or to be more precise, who even got access to this subforum with deleted topics?

They could have been mass pruned by mistake too.

yea pruning only do it if u have a lot of topics that get deleted.....

No... it wasn't pruning, Christophe (admin) checked it... this was first in my mind too...

Can anyone tell us is it possible to see all users with Admin rights? Maybe it's possible that forum is beeing hacked, but not taken over...

There are 378 users... so it's not easy to check them one by one...

Yesteraday I found the same problem with my forum. The oldest topics were missing. When I entered the ModCP the topics were there. What could have happened and how to fix the problem?
I am the only admin and there are no moderators.

Problem solved. It is an AdminCP setting again - Default date cut off for topic display in the Manage Forums menu.

Unfortunately I don't seem to have any ''Manage Forums'' menu.
The version of phpBB I'm using is 2.0.19. Does anybody know where I can find such ''Default date cut off for topic display'' function in that version?
