I just went on my forum and noticed that everyone's icon was removed, and their titles are repeated. If you look under there names there ranks are repeated, how did all of this happen? I also read in one of the threads to state what you did to cause the probelm. But I haven't been in the admin cp in a long time, so I don't think I really did anything.

Do you mean the rank images? Have you checked that they are still working where you hosted them?

this happened to me as well.... mine is because of the avatar problem. ... it repeats (on mine at least) because the rank pic which is now a red X is titled the same as the rank image.

I dont know why all the avatars hosted on the board are gone. That is what needs to be looked at I think.

yeah, the images aren't working anymore, that's probably why the ranks are repeated. But these icons weren't hosted on the board. People hosted their own icons and linked them.

Edit: Yeah, all of the images stopped working. The icons work again, but I can't figure out the rank images. I made a new user for every rank and set that user's icon as the rank image. Then I did the copy image location thing. But when I do that instead of getting a url with something like this:16871675742165568756ec.gif I just end up getting the URL of the picture from where I uploaded it (my photobucket account). I did this before and it worked fine, I don't understand why it's not working now. So how do I fix the rank images?

my rank images were hosted on the board... i did it like they said by making a new account, making the rank image an avatar hosted by the board then took that avatars addy or whatever and plugged it into the rank image spot.

so all my ranks disappeared when the avatars did.

Anything that is hosted offsite is still working for me.

For my ranks i hosted them all offsite and plugged in the regular addy and that is working for me now. Hope that helps.

I would still like the avatars back tho

yes i simply hosted my rank images on an offsite place and they work for me again

would really like to see someone at least acknowledge there is a problem tho

^ sometimes photobucket images disseaper alot for some reason i used other upload pics cuz they dont need an account...much easier i guess
