hi i have yet another problem with my forum...

Members are saying that they can't log in... why is this?

Please post a link to the board you are referring to and explain the situation in more detail. (e.g. what's the error message your members are getting etc.)
This will allow us to provide correct support/attention.

My users have to log on twice before they can post and automatically logging in doesn't work.

Please check these settings, found under Administration Control Panel => General Admin => Configuration:
  1. Allow automatic logins (along with Automatic login key expiry)
  2. Session length [ seconds ] - set it to reasonable amount.
    If this value has been set too low, e.g 60 seconds, it will automatically log out everyone after 1 minute of inactivity. The default setting - 1 hour (=3600 seconds) is IMO very reasonable.
