My registration issues have been fixed but now newly registered people cannot log in after registering, they are getting the "Wrong password, wrong name or information or inactive user."

EDIT: links in E-mail only bring you to the site, not to an activation page.

Changes: I seem to be able to activate members manually. I also see that there are threads on this now and responses that the problem is being worked on. Disregard this then, thanks

hey! I have this problem too.. but after registration, the users cannot log in while I'm not active their user.. please help as soon as possible 'cause this is my really big problem!!

and one more problem: after registration this is the message which is not good:
"Could not connect to smtp host : 0 : Success

DEBUG MODE

File : smtp.php"

PLEASE HELP!

alex4e, can you look at the 'smtp' settings in your forum's admin panel > configuration. If you have settings turns on, ...it needs to be turned off.

My users still can not log on. They still get the message that their username / PW are in correct. When is this going to be fixed? Its been over a week now.
