Default phpBB trasfer to ipb?

Is there any way to transfer the article's from my phpbb forum to an ipb forum?

I am an admin for a respectable "free" online flight association. We are dramaticly loosing members to the inconsistancy of the phpbb forums on server 6, and I would like to know how to, or if its possible to move the articles over to an ipb forum, or another server that doesnt crash every other day. We have had more down time than up time recently.

If this is not possible, How am I to retain the $$$ invested to remove the adds? Although the forums are free to users, your profiting from the adds that run, either by us removing them, or by the advertiser paying to place them. I feel forumer may be default on some legal issues.

Its only free until someone has paid money to remove the ads. At that point, I think that legaly speaking you should be working REALLY HARD to either keep the admins of your forums up to date on errors, or downtime. And supply possible situations. Or make possible the return of the money invested to forumer.com There is no where on the sign up, or regestration to new forums saying anything about the instability of your forums. As a customer, I feel we deserve treatment consistant with that of any other pay site. If this is infact an error on my part, please correct me.

I am sorry there is no easy way to move your forum over to IPB. There is no way for Forumer to move your phpbb board over to ipb. What I suggest is that you remake it in ipb, archive all posts, etc on phpbb when you are setting up ipb in every subject make a archive and post links to the old area. You might want to make guest view option available on the phpbb.

if you pay for a forum with 1% uptime there is still no legal issue as no where on forumer do they guarantee uptime.

FBuck$ are non refundable also but you might be able to sell them in the FBuck$ trade area.

i would post in the correct forum about server 6, I havn't had any problems with server 6 recently and it works fine as I am typing this so if you are getting more downtime then uptime I think it would be a problem with your computer/internet.

No. You cannot convert to another forum type.

You can start from scratch all over again with a different forum type or stay with what you have.
