Exclamation Help! Getting Error Message in my board and have banner problems

My forum address is: http://kbonline.7.forumer.com

I've been getting this error message:
Unable to connect to database on 'localhost' with user 'xxxx'
Dear user, our technicians are aware of this issue! Please bear with us as we fix this bug!

And it comes out when I type the address to go to the index , then the forum comes back and when I go to the admin panel the same error message comes. I've also been having problems with the banner at the top of my forum, the banner I had posted before isn't there anymore instead its the default forumer.com banner. When I accessed the admin panel before I got the error message, I tried uploading my banner again, but nothing happened, the default forumer.com banner is still there.

I've noticed this has happened to many other boards in forumer.com who get the error message and can't see their banners. Any help you can provide will be appreciated. Thank you.

the error
"Unable to connect to database on 'localhost' with user 'xxxx'"
is due to the phpbb servers overloaded. they are being fixxed asap. the banner problem may that you changed skins. and/or it was the wrong file format/the size of banner was too big.

no I don't think the banner problem has anything to do with the size, because my banner is small and way below limited pixel size. And I have changed skins, I kept the default one ever since I made my forum. Thanks for responding, and hope the bug gets fixed soon.

I just visited my board again, its being going awfully slow. Does that have to do with the bug, that's been affecting the forumer boards? By the way, I meant at the top message, that I haven't changed skins on my board.

Also here's the banner I used to have at the top:

Is it too big? I didn't think it was. The weird thing was, my messageboard was fine all day, and the banner at the top was displayed nicely. But at night was when the chaos began, and my banner disappeared and I got the default forumer banner. Could it also have anything to do with bug? Since the "banner disappearing" has been happening to a lot of boards at forumer. I'm not sure, but I think the bug has got something to do with it, since my messageboard was working alright yesterday without any problems, until at night when it started getting crazy.

it isnt a "bug". its just a overload. the overload might have took your banner away. i dont know why jusy it may have.

Oh ok. Thanks for responding. For a second there I was about to freak out. Thinking what did I do? Because I was like, I didn't touch the admin panel yesterday, except to add an html code for music, which I'm pretty savvy with html codes. And I only put codes I know and have tested before adding to the board. So its a relief to know, its just a little technical error caused by that bug, you were talking about. Thanks for the help.

You don't happen to have any Internet Security programs on your computer that blocks banner advertsements, do you? Because if so, that is most likely why your banner is not displaying.

Well I have a pop blocker from panicware.com and popswatter that came with smileycentral. I have them both off and I still can't see my banner. The odd thing is i've had those pop up blockers practically forever and I've had my messageboard at forumer.com for several months and all of this time it was working fine and the banner was displayed nicely even with the pop up blockers on! It was until last night that the banner disappeared along with other banners that also disappeared in various boards hosted by forumer.com. So I think its the bug thats causing all of this and not the users themselves, because its too coincidential that all these problems are ocurring to everybody. And to add insult to injury now I can't go into my board, I get a "Cannot Find Server" error message!! Please help me I am desperate. I've noticed the boards in other servers (8 and 6) are working, but server 7 is still having problems. Please check into this. Thanks!

I was just at my board, and its working fine. The only thing I'm still having trouble with is the banner at the top. It still won't let me upload my banner and I'm still seeing the default forumer.com banner. I already clear my cache and cookies, and I've disabled my pop up blockers.

What should I do to fix this problem?
