this has become a big issue for our forum too. Our users aren't greatly schooled in the internet and asking them to add our board's name to those links is asking a lot.

Do you guys have any other solutions?

Sorry for the inconvenience, and I know this reply is getting tiresome to most of you. There really isn't anything the Support Staff can do, however. All we can do is answer questions on these forums. Limez, the administrator, needs to take care of this. However, he is out of town. We will notify him of this problem as soon as he is back.

I just started my forum yesterday, I tried all the previous hints too. Still nothing. So, i supose you can say I am having the same problem. Other than that, all seems to be fine.

I am really sorry if i'm out of place for answering here, but there is really a simple solution for this until it gets fixed!!
this is what i did. To make it easy i'm going to use my forum name in this example and by no mean do i mean to advertise with this, but it just makes it easier to understand for some ppl, where ever u see my forum name, just change that to urs.
For the admins of a site, go to ur admin settings, click on "Configuration" here theres an area where u will see this:" Email Signature
This text will be attached to all emails the board sends " now just as an example this is what my signature says, please dont copy the same exact thing! Thanks, The PrplsFreebsAndSweeps Team

This is a known Forumer issue and is being worked on.

Now in ur case just change where it has my name to ur forumname as well as ur server number if u are on 7 or any other one, and this way, any time one of ur members gets a notification of a pm on ur board, they will have this added in the email, hence they can click on the bottom link and be directed straight to ur forum!
I really hope this solves this problem for now.

P.S. for any mod, like i said, i dont mean to advertise or nothing so if u wanna edit this to something else please do so, i just didnt really know how else to explain it. thanx again hope it helps

Last response that acknowledged this isse was 4/2 (9 days ago). Has there been ANY progress? An update would be nice...

Nope. Sorry.

I wouldn't expect this to be fixed anytime soon if I were you, as there are a lot more important bugs we need to fix first.
