I've been working with two browers, netscape navigator and internet explorer. I've finally managed to successfully get my banner to display on the forum, but the picture only shows up on netscape and not on internet explorer. Is there anything I can do to make sure it displays on both types of browsers, especially since the more actively used browser is internet explorer?

Also, can anyone tell me how to make a regular jpg picture into an icon picture so I can use it for my favicon?

Sorry to keep bugging you guys, but the help is MUCH appreciated!

Which version of internet explorer?
The banner also works with Firefox

Here is a link to convert gif, jpg, png, and bmp. to .ico.

Beware that the .ico is only 16 by 16 pixels, so no detail can be added.

However, I suggest that you make one at favicon.cc, once you have made it, you can download it straight off the website.

Thanks for the help.

I have the favicon made into an .ico now. But... I'm having problems uploading it onto photobucket! Any solutions, or thoughts as to why it won't upload?

I'm not sure if Photobucket supports that type of file, if yes it might have been a tech. hitch and maybe you could try again, if they don't you might want to check out other image hosts
