Default Is this possible to apply to guests..?

Would it be possible for Guests to be able to open up forums within categories but not to actually view the topics, because at the moment I'm having to do this - MyMiniCityForum.co.uk - Your Number 1 MyMiniCity Resource and a lot of un-registered members aren't realising what they're missing out with. I know phpBB forums do it, but I'm using ivb.

Possible?

I don't understand what you are asking, can you re-word your question?

From what it looks like, he wants guests to view the forums, but not have access to view the topics.

No, but I will give you crap about that offensive signature though

Well this is quite an old topic, but I am going to answer it....

It is quite easy...... AdminCP -> Users and Groups -> Manage User Groups -> click on Edit Group by guests and answer questions: Can view board? with Yes and Can view other members topics? with NO that will allow them to see the board but not read topics... click on Complete edit and you are done.

Please do not bump old topics in the future.

Please do not PM/e-mail me for support unless I ask you to.
Do a search and if you don't find your answer create a thread with your question and I will be happy to help. I can not be replying the same answer over and over in an e-mail/PM. Thanks.
