i tweaked up a board for a friend of mine, using my own CSS & the blue illusion skin. it looks real nice, but the image for the polls is an x.

(like the image that shows after each choice on the polls, you know?)

is it in images? if it is, i can replace it with something else, i just need to know what it's called. :lol:

Hi there,

your probably on s3 which has many bugs two it, including some of the images not beening on the skins. I'm sure forumer™ staff will have this fixed ASAP.

nikki only if you get me that list of missing images i asked you too a week ago from my test board that you admin on that you said you would for me...

but if server 3 is down i can understand but when it is up i need that list you said you would get and put the blue illusion skin back as the main skin there when done so i can continue my project for the host

i didn't see one called 'poll image'. there's a rating image, but it's the pip, so i wasn't sure if that was it or not. i guess i'll just tweak around & see what happens. :lol: my friend's new board is on server 2, so it's down now anyway.

those are from the images page. it's also missing the poll image thingy, but i don't know what it's called, & it's not on the images page. if i knew where it was, & what it was called, i could replace it with something though.

Okay, if it is missing the poll image, then it is called (by default) "Poll Folder". There are a number of variations (New posts with dot, new posts without dot, no new posts with dot, No new posts without dot).

So, if it isn't there, you should probably either report it as a bug or change skins. The Night Time Gray Skin doesn't allow the "Board Guidelines" to be shown, so that's similar. However, most skins will show up with the Poll Folder.

I asked nikki for a detailed list of all missing images from all skins and as soon as he gets me that list then i can submit it to the host for review and the host said that they could possibly manually insert all of the missing images...what gets me is that we had to wait so long to get these skins and they should have all been pre checked before they were installed.I feel sorry for all of the membership here.

if i can figure out what the poll folder thing yer talkin about is, i could find it in my admin cp, & copy it & paste it over to my friend's, cuz mine is based off the forumer default skin. it was the only choice when i made my board. :P

her board's back up now though, which is great. i don't think they do a whole lot of polls anyway. they can probably wait a while...

the rest of her missing images i can replace with mine, except for that triangle thingy, cuz mine is light blue, which wouldn't match her light blue. :lol:

anyhoo, hopefully they'll get to it one of these days. getting that server working consistently is more important. i got nothing but time.

ok, i found poll folder on my images page, but she has all that stuff. (they're little envelope lookin images) what she's missing is the little coloured bars that show up after the choices when you vote. for example...

no ________
maybe _____

^ those little line thingys. :P they need a colour or something. right now they are X's.

Biff -- I am using Dreamerz as my skin -- and I too had this problem -- the poll's image is not there. The image you want from the default Blue Illusion is this -- this is the link to support's image

-- http://support.forumer.com/style_images/1/bar.gif -- so your friend's site name would be in front of forumer + their server # -- then the rest will provide the default skin's image. You can change this image in 2 places -- you need to go the HTML section and click on View Poll Sections | Show Poll: Result Row -- there you will find the HTML you need to change:

The part in bold is the exact link you need for that image you need. There is another section that uses that image as well -- the private message inbox section -- that shows the percentage you are at. You can find that in Messenger Section | Msg List: Inbox Header:

yeah, Yah, i guess it's resolved. i know how you love to lock em.

(sometimes i think it wouldn't hurt to leave em open, incase someone else wants to say something, but who am i to judge?)

when i clicked the image link, i didn't see anything. it could just be a really small image though. :lol:

my friend's board is still down, so i can't try it. if this thread gets locked before i can try it, or if i have any problems, i might have to PM you. i hope that's ok.

you are really smart at this stuff. they should make you a moderator, IMO.
