Sorry that I missed out on this, Pappy, but in an earlier thread today you asked:

The easiest way to go about this - and neatest, because it wouldn't cause the background to show double up and not precisely seamless (in the background and in the header table) - is to simply "loose" the header background altogether. To acchieve this, go to the HTML Templates - Board Header, and find:

<img src='your_header' alt='Powered by Invision Power Board' border="0"/></center>
</div>

Delete the code marked with red and add the center tags (marked with blue) if they're not already there.

birdie if you looked at that thread i figured it out already..no need to start new thread...i did remove all code in there and inserted the image url plus tagging/if you view my board now the area behind the banner looks the same as the rest of the back round image ...thank you for responding...
