Search performed with no help/similar topic found,

Id like to change the font for all the category titles on my main page,
from white to a light orange colour, from research i think the hexidecimal code for the colour i want is: FFCC99.

I would also like to have a play round with the size of this font to possibly make it slightly larger (one size up).

I would also like to see what the category title font on the main page looks like in bold.

My members seem to like the site to be more attractive & easy on the eye, and id like to make these changes to save the sites look from becoming monotanous, & to have a stronger edge over similar forums.

Changing the color can be done by following these steps:

1) Go to: AdminCP > Style Sheets > Edit
2) Find the following code:

.maintitle { text-align:center; vertical-align:middle;font-weight:bold; color:#FFFFFF; letter-spacing:1px; padding:7px 0px 8px 5px; background-image:url(http://img73.photobucket.com/albums/...ns/7-1-5.gif); background-position:center; }

.maintitle a:link, .maintitle a:visited, .maintitle a:active { text-decoration: none; color: #FFFFFF }

.maintitle a:hover { color: #BBBBBB; text-decoration:none; }

3) Replace the code in red with your text color. Replace the code in blue with the color you want the links to be, and replace the code in green with the color you want it to be when the mouse is over it.

I dont know how to do the rest, but im sure someone does.

I tried what you said and ended up losing the backround image just under the category title, now its just black, how do i get it back? ive tried a few things but it just doesnt seem to work.

This is the problem code that isnt producing a backround image for the bar anymore:

.titlemedium { font-weight: bold;padding: 7px;margin: 0px;color: #fff;backround-image: url(style_images/<#IMG_DIR#>/tile_sub.gif); }

SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THE ORIGINAL CODE IS!

By the way, changing the code you supplied only made the 'board statistics' title change colour.

You changed the wrong thing. I told you to change the MAINTITLE, not the TITLEMEDIUM. The maintitle is the bar above the catogories, and the statistics. The titlemedium is the bar under it. Dont mess with it at all. I dont think you can just change the catagory font. To get the original Titlemedium back, just reinstall your skin.

My code might be a little different, because im using a custom skin. Just find the "maintitle" words, and look for the things in color, and edit them. I didnt give you wrong instructions, you just edited the wrong thing.

I realise that i changed a different one to what you said, but this is because the one you told me to change wasnt what i was after at all.

I cant reinstall the skin because ive customised it to much to start it over,

Does anyone have the original blue illusion skin code for the following incorrect line:

.titlemedium { font-weight: bold;padding: 7px;margin: 0px;color: #fff;backround-image: url(style_images/<#IMG_DIR#>/tile_sub.gif); }
