Now I made a forum on my site and I downloaded my FTP client thingy. Now I am in the archive_in folder but I have no clue how to upload from there, I have right clicked and I looked through all the options and I find no way to upload my skin into there.

If it helps I am using LeapFTP 2.7.5

I'm used to working with IPB Version 2.0.0 Final, but, isn't there a thing in the Admin CP where you can Import a skin? If so, just use that.

Otherwise man, all you have to do is transfer the skin to the "archive_in" folder.

That was my whole question. I do not know how to upload my skin in my Archive_in folder w/ my FTP program. I dont see an option to upload anywhere at all. I can prolly do it if I know how to download it.

Alright, erm, do you know how to connect to your website? I mean, did you connect to your FTP account?

Also, maby try right clicking and select, "upload" or, "copy to right"

I also would reccomend nothing else but:
http://software.visicommedia.com/en/...ceftpfreeware/

It is free! Easy to use! And it works!

Ok I already figured how to upload it and all, now my problem is when I try to import it it says:

Quote:
Cannot write to the /home/founder/public_html/community/style_images directory, please set sufficient CHMOD permissions to allow this. IBF cannot do this for you.
What do I do?

Ah, that... It means the folder you are trying to upload it to needs to be CHMODED to 777. To do this, right click the folder and selct properties, then see if there is a CHMOD box.

Also, I dont think:
/home/founder/public_html/community/style_images directory
is the right path.

I already did the 777 thing, um how would I change the directory?

[ Edit ]
I even put the file into the style_images folder and it still wont come up.

However you navigated into the folder you are in, navigate into your archive_in folder. It works the same.

PS~ If you PM me, I would be able to download the skin, and upload it for you. But, that's only if you trust me.

Do you see the arrows in the images you click on your folder you want to upload into then go over to the file you want to upload so highlight it then click on that arrow going to the section you want uploaded into.
It really basic and simple.
