how can i add a border to my board without centering the text?

i have this code which came with and invisonfree skin, but this one centers the text.

<table border="1" bordercolor="#9A9A9A" cellpadding="10" cellspacing="0" width="756">
<tr><td bgcolor="#ffffff">
**and removing the <center> makes the entire thing align left.

please help
