How to delete many topics (in many different forums) at the same time ? I ask this because a user spammed ALL of my forums with PORN !!

I banned his IP, but he used a different IP address! I guess he used online IP masking service I banned both! But he used another one! How can that be possible ??!

And: is there anyway to give Mods the privilege to BAN without having access to other parts of Admin CP ? I really need this function, because I'm not online 24/7 to prevent spamming like this!

Moreover, I had to forced GUESTS to log in, how can there be 5 GUESTS on my board??!

In the Mod CP, there is an option to mass prune topics. Use that.

If their IP addy keeps changing, it means one of two things; he's masking his adress, like you said, or they have a dial-up connection.

I think so. It's in the Forum control -> Moderators section.

I'm sorry you have a spammer. That must really suck.

Thanks for your reply! The problem was that he spam one topic in every forum, and I had to go to each forum to delete. I want to give my Mods Banning feature, is that possible?

I want to censor certain links, too. If there is a way, please show me!!

I think mods can ban. It's in the Forum control -> Moderators section.

As for the censor, you can shoose specific words, and that should work for links. ACP -> Administration -> Manage Word Filters. You can also read this.

Thanks for help, but... :

Mods cannot ban unless they're up to Admin level

Well, then I guess you only have two options:
  1. Be the only one banning this person
  2. Get someone you [know and trust to help you.

Moderators can, in fact, be allowed to ban via a special 'Ban panel'. Go to the Warning Set-up section of your admin CP, and mark 'Yes' next to this option:

Moderators can ban via warn panel?

That should work for you.

Do I have to enable the "warning system" first ?

It might be a good idea, but I don't think you have to have it enabled.

OK. I enabled it anyway. They can't really "ban," just "disable posting capability". But that helps! Thank you!

I don't want ordinary members to use the warning system. How can I disable that ?

They won't be able to use it. If you have it set to do so, though, they'll be able to see only their own warning level.
