Not sure what's happened, but my forum runs unbearably slow these days. i don't remember there was any forum modifications before it went slow. there IS something though that I noticed in the "Affiliates and Recommended Events" section of the forum where I input some picture links, which are not working now due to the hosting server down or for reasons unknown. i have removed all the links, but it does not help at all. Please take a look at the forum and advise.

Hmm, server 30 is running fast and has low load. I can access your forum quickly also.
May be it's because of your internet connection (or your ISP's problem)? Can you try to access your forum from another PC with different line?

I have also tried your forum, also logged in the "Test" account you sent me and the forum was loading fast for me, please give a try to chinhngt's suggestion and get back to us.

thanks for the quick reply. yes, i did try to access the forums from different pc and different internet connections. my members also reported the slow running. it seems that whenever i open the forum, everything below the red navigation bar will load for tremendous time, so i suspect the 'google ad' cud be an issue... could you look into this first? thank you so much.

well I tried again and on a different browser too, and the ad is always real fast to load, the whole forum is fast loading too though the pages which displays the video just under the ad loads slower than the pages which do not display it...

Access to Google Ads may be slow in some places like China, Vietnam where the governments have some sort of firewall, filters. Can you tell me where you are from?

fortunately and unfortunately the heart of China, Beijing and i do understand there are other sites like youtube, fileden, facebook are being blocked here from time to time. if that's the case, does it mean the google ad will affect the whole forum for good and if so, is there anything i can do to resolve this other than paying to remove it?

Interestingly on this forumer.com bbs, the google ad loads fairly quick. I have no idea why not in my forum... panic.

I see, normally this kind of problem will automatically resolved after a while when the government releases the blocking ...

I don't understand why google ads loads quick here (fhq.forumer.com) but not in my forum, perhaps the problem is not about the google ad. could you work from your side to remove the google ad for a few days for me to test so we are sure this is where the problem is? thank you.

you can remove your google ads to test things for a fee in the ACP -> fSettings -> fPremium Upgrades -> Ad removal

thank you for the advice, but i am not ready or feeling safe to process any payment online yet. if you cud do a trial removal and convince me the google ad IS the pain in the neck, i will probably consider taking a chance.

You got over 1000fBucks on your fHQ account, you can transfer a 1000fBucks to your forum using this link and activate ad removal with that will give you a 1000 ad free page views. Not much, but enough to see if it makes any difference.

i tried to do the transfer but get this "Could not connect to remote forum server.Transfer error"... for too many times.

Besides, the google ad loads just fine here at this forum, it cud be something else i suspect. what a headache.
