Did you do it at different times? There might have been a connection problem but it works, I just sent 500fBuck$ to your forum now and it has transfered (You can send them back to me now

click on the "Send fBuck$ »" link under my user name)

I just visited your forum again, there is no problem with loading, it is real fast the ads included, the only thing that did not load at all was the video just under the ads, maybe you should place it in a thread as opposed to the index, if you check my earlies post I already mentioned it to you.

Also........ half of your affiliates did not show, just an empty square instead of an image

yes, i have tried to remove the video under the google ad, the loading of the page is still VERY slow, so i assume this is not the problem. i have changed it to a picture instead of a video now. if the google ad is THE problem, i am less concerned, coz i can always pay to remove it, but it does not seem to be THE problem, as google ad in THIS and many other forums i visit loads just fine.

about the fbucks: i have tried in vain 100 times to transfer to my forum or send you back the fbucks, i never was able to connect to the remote server. i am now in great panic :-(

google ads are displayed according to the forum content, and are different on each forum depending on what is discussed...

So it might as well be that they load fast here and still one particular one is being blocked when it comes to your forum...

it's been more than a month since my forum experienced this slow loading. i am naive about how google ad works, but if one ad is blocked, it should not display anyway. it seems the random google ad always displays after a few minutes or 10...for every page load, i will have to wait for at least 5 minutes or longer, this really sucks.

i have tried to use 500 fBucks to update the ad removal, but it didn't seem to work. why is that?

what i understand was the google ad will be removed for a number of clicks/visits of the page after i have paid some fbucks, but it never happened so far.

ok so what exactly did you do?

in IPB apart from enabling ad removal in the ACP -> fSettings

you also need to enable if for each user group... you can chose which group will see the ads and which won't

ACP -> Users and Groups -> Manage User Groups -> Edit Group -> Allow ad removal for this group? -> Yes -> Complete Edit

thank you for your support, wildcat. I did exactly what you told me to... and the strange thing is that without the google ad, the page still loads very slow. i am sure something else must be wrong there so i tried to retore the default 'redsqure' skin from ACP control. what a clumsy action, i didn't know all the skin modification was gone. is there a way to go back :-( when i want to?
