Default How to display sub-forum on the board index?

Greetings everyone.
I tried searching for this topic in here but I can't find one so I start this one.
Actually I'm still a newbie in handling a forum (and CSS, HTML, etc also)
so if I can ask,
how to make the sub-forums i made in ACP appear on the board index of my forum?
as it only shows the categories & main forums in the board index.

actually, there are several topics like this (one of them here), guess you didn't search for the right word...
================================================

You can add the links to the forum description box:

ACP -> Forum Control -> Manage Forums -> click on Settings by the forum you want to edit -> and add the code on the bottom

Code:
Subforums: <a href="Link to the subforum"><b>Forum name</b></a>, <a href="Link to the subforum"><b>Forum name</b></a>, <a href="Link to the subforum"><b>Forum name</b></a>
and click on Edit this forum. (<b> </b> is to make the text bold, if you don't want it bold you can remove those tags)
Replace Link to the subforum with the actual link to each forum you want to display)
Forum name with the name you want to display
