Default How to unlist my forum out of google and other search engines?

Hello,

What i'm gonna ask i dunno if it's possible.

Is it possible to unlist my forum out of search engines like google? If so, how?

My forum has public and private thread, and if i look in google it appers the title of the topics of the private part of the forum in Google...

Thanks in advance,
Nelson

Hmm, I can't find information if you can request Google not to scan your site. If you don't want Google to search, the easiest way is prevent public view, so anyone must login to view forums/threads.

With best regards,
Chinh

That's because you are logged in your forum account so the search will show you the private parts too, you can only see the parts you got permission to view.

If you log out of your account and clear your cache and cookies, and then do the search, you will find that as a guest you can only see the public parts while the private parts will not be shown.

Then you probably have the permissions set wrong, you can only see what you got permissions for.

What is the forum url btw? you should have posted that in your first post!!
