Hi there, I'm just wondering if it's possible to have the banner (upon being clicked) link back to the board index page.

It is doing it now. ... all IPB forum banners on click automatically take you to the forum index unless the HTML was edited....

I don't exactly get it why you're asking this, unless you asked the wrong question and you really want to be linked to the portal....
