The administrator is well-aware of what's been going on and he'll cooperate with you 100%. Just PM or e-mail him and he should get back to you fairly quickly.

The threatening poster is not anonymous. We definitely know who he is. He has been unregistered from the community but I wouldn't be surprised if signed up with another account to lurk anonymously.

Anyway...thanx again for your assistance Edwin and please get back to me when you learn anything.

were there any threatening emails sent from the forum or only PMs?

There is an email log feature in the admin CP available to the root admin and all emails sent from the forum are logged there............so if the admin didn't clear the logs you still should have some proof about it....

And what exactly do you mean by ?

Was he banned or deleted?

The administrator of the site has found the thread but unfortunately is unable to respond (apparently he's got activation issues with his account here).

In any event, I have been corresponding with him outside this site and he has seen and has answered your questions via PM with me. I have his blessing to cut and paste his responses so here goes....

Only PMs (private messages). sad.gif I don't have logs of PMs, just e-mails (which I don't check unless there's a report of abuse).

His account was deleted at his own request. Between the time that I notified people through bulk e-mail to save their PMs from all soon-to-be-deleted members, and the time that I actually deleted those members, he brought a suspension on himself. He did this while knowing that I was going to delete his account a day or so later anyway, and that he wouldn't be allowed back under any account once I granted his deletion request. (In other words, he knew he had nothing much to lose by being suspended.)

Do you think you could tell the staff to look into the account of "Mr. Bevis," the administrator of the TZ Cafe, and that his account may need to be activated? I can log in but can't start new threads or reply to existing posts. Thanks.

Yes, he did save the offender's IP addresses and also his e-mail. I'll get back to you on that this evening.

These will have been deleted instantly, however I could ask Limez to check the server backups. Do you have any idea of the timescale (when this happened)?

Edwin and Wild Cat,

This happened over about a five day period (I wanna say May 3-8). He hit about five of us members (including the admin). The last and by far the worst two came last (I'd say on from may 6-8). I'll elaborate more in the e-mail to Wild Cat and I'll copy Edwin on it if he's OK with it. There's quite a bit more of damning evidence to make up for what's missing
