Ive set up a new forum for my school project website in my web mastering class. But I cant seem to get the hang of managing my forums, or making them visible for that matter. Ive made a new category and forum but they wont show. Could I get some advice. Time is a constraint, our revised web page is due wed. the 11th.

Turn the permission masks on.

Falco, many, many, people make the same mistake, and sometimes people (it seems) lose patience in responding even though it isn't your fault.

From your forum, click on Admin CP... (log in). Click on forum control- manage forums... you should see your "empty" forums in a list on the right side of the screen. Go to the forum, and click on permissions... most people click on the top row, all the way across. When you set up new forums... if you scroll down the screen a bit... you will see the permission masks and you can save a step.
