| Member | This might seem like a lot, but is there a way that you can make a member respond to a welcome forum before he/she can post to the forum? In an older forum, I made a welcome section which no one replied to, so to encourage them to post there, I thought it would be a good idea to have to post in a welcome section before being able to post- although I realize that this is a far stretch. Any help appriciated |

| Learned Forumer ![]() | There is a way, but it would be very complicated. First you would have to create a new group AND permission mask. Set the main Member Group to be promoted to this new group after 1 post, then only allow the main member group to post in the welcome forum. Set up the new group as you wish members to be able to do after they have posted in the welcome forum. |
