Default Additions to validation email?

I understand that the registration process cant be amended to include extra profile information, but all I want is to add a few extra fields to the registration form (which I have done), but then I want the input from these fields to be included in the email sent to me as part of the admin validation process.

This will give me the info I require to authorise new members.

The reason for this is that our forum is for members of an existing club & I want to check that they have a valid membership number before I enable their registration. I'm quite happy to do this manually, if only i could get the info on the email

I've searched all the forums & checked fmods, but I cant find what I'm looking for.

Have you actually asked the question at FMODS? As they specialise in this kind of thing you would probably get a better response there.

Sadly not, I read something about need 5 posts before you could ask & being that I hate posting for the sake of it, it's a bit of a problem.

I'm sure it's do - able, the variable are in the form, It's just a matter of getting them into the email. There are more than likeley already options to do this, if only I had the source I could have a look...

Oh well, hopefully someone will have some idea
