I am the only admin and nobody and i didn't logged on to the admin CP-part. On a night a category was deleted!?

ok so I will need screen shots and more information about this to be able to report it

what category was it, where, did it have many threads and posts...

also if you go to some member's profile who you know has posted in that category, and click on "find all posts by this member" do you still see the posts in questions? or are they missing?

The point I'm making is that maybe it was not wiped out only some link is broken and I need to know all these details. If you don't want to post details like this here you can PM them to me together with a test account log in details.(name and password) so the technicians can check ...

When I logged on this morning, I noticed one of my forums has gone missing. This is a pretty bad thing, since there were some rather important posts in that particular forum. I checked the admin functions, but they don't show the subforum either. I checked the admin logs to see what happened, but it's deletions is not in the admin logs.

Please help me with this problem, since it is the second time this has happened. Last time it only was the problem that the forum wasn't accessable, the topics were.

EDIT: By searching old posts from members that have been posting in that particular forum, I found out that the posts in the subforums under that partiucular foprum and the subforums themselves still exits, although thier ruote doesn't.

The top, left shows: Legendfalls -> -> -> Plot LF4
So it shows two blanks. It doesn't show the category and it doesn';t show the forum. The category is still working though. I will try to place the subforums in another forum to make them accessable again.

Can you go into the members profile of a member you know has posted into the missing sub forum and check for all posts by member.......... the posts to the sub forum in question should be there.......... then get back to me if it is there or not...

I will need detailed information about the missing subforum............ which category was it under and the name of the subforum, if you can also include an url of some of the threads that will make it easier to recover........... also create a test account please and send the log in details (name, password and url of your forum).

If you don't feel comfortable about posting those details here you can email them for me.

Please do a search in member profile for all posts by member and find me a posts from the thread which is in the missing category and send me the URLs (either poet them here or email them to me please.) We need this information so we can try and fix your board.
