1) Is there a way to unallow certain usernames?

2) Is it possible to make it so that the navigation links at the top of the forum are only avaliable to certain groups?

1. Go to Admin CP -> Users and Groups -> Ban Settings -> Banned / Reserved Names (one per line)

Enter reserved names, this will stop anyone who wants to register with that name to do so.

2. Make certain groups to use the guest permission mask and they won't be bale to send PM's, emails, have access to "My Controls" etc.

Well..... not really the guests permission masks as you still want to let those groups to post and you wouldn't want guests posting..... make new permission masks for those groups and you can determine what they are allowed to use.

No, I mean at the top like Calendar or Help. I want people to only see a certain custom link after 15 posts.

Adding a custom link and then let people to only see it after they made a certain amount of post would I think require a mod.

Maybe in fMods they can help you.

I didn't see it there. I think its only an IPB 2.x thing, since that is what fMods uses.

It doesn't matter what they use...... if you can't find a mod you are looking for you can request one and some one might make it for you.
