Red face no validation email
I tried to register for a new forum email addy immortalis-civ@hotmail.com and nothing arrived as in the validation link, i checked spam and filter folders any ideas?

i believe it was immortalheroes or gwimmortalheroes it says that my email is reserved so im lost now

I am experiencing a similar problem. I registered for a board called "communishyfen" 3 days back. I got no email in 48 and re-registered, as the instructions, well, instructed. However, I received a notice that the name was already reserved, so I couldn't re-register.

Are You The Owner of that forum?

Have u check using ACP

ACP --> System Setting --> Security & Privacy --> Security (troublesome User)

Choose User Email Validation

So new member will recieve e-mail validation when registering.

Unless the admin takes it off the reserve list, you can't have it.

Have you tried again since? Sometimes it takes a little longer than 48hours.

Try to register the same forum-name as you wanted (which was reserved) with a different email address and user name.......... you will NOT be able to change the forum name once you make it so make sure you chose the right name for you.

You WILL be able to change your user name and email on your forum through the admin CP. (however you should keep a record of your log in details from when you create the forum and also the email you receive because those will be needed if you ever need to use your FAP account.)

Is it still reserved?

Just keep trying (in a few hours and tomorrow...)............. sooner or later it will come un-reserved (as long as no one else used it)........... or if you get fed up trying then maybe try to invent a different name but make sure you like it as you won't be able to change it once you have the forum made.

Alright, I tried it again with a different email, and everything went fine. Until I entered the security code and the needed info that went with it. When I submitted it it took back to step one. When I tried to visit the forum, it just took me to a forumer page.
