Liz, I think the missing "sent items" problem is something that only the forumer technicians can fix, people who have access to the actual servers.

To me, it looks like some code is missing from the skin_msg.php (Msg List: Inbox Header)

Code:

Found that line of code.That line of code is the same on both my forums,one works and one does not.
So i think you're right and we need admin to fix it.

For you Admin and mods;
In the Control Panel on the left hand side of the page the sent items sub menu item is not present (the two little dashes are there but the words SENT ITEMS link is missing)also there is no text displayed in any of the drop down menus on the same page.Hence that is no way to access the sent items folder.
I have 2 forums exactly the same on different servers,i have compared the two htmls and there are no differences hence this appears to be a problem with server 3.

Can mods or admin please make a suggestion on how this can be fixed or get the server tech guys to check it out.

I just found out those who need to access your sent message folders that it can be done by clicking the GO button next to Jump to Folder in the control panel(in your inboxes) on the top right hand side.
So it is usable even though the words are missing.

Thanks atsw! This is a great temporary solution. Hopefully the real fix is in the works, but for the time being this seems to be working for my forum.

Thanks to all forumers for the great tips. They have really helped me keep my forum together and are greatly appreciated.

I can't understand why Forumer won't at least address the problems with server 3. It has been a disastrous stretch! If they can't address the problem or at least keep us up to date, then obviously we will have to explore other options to keep the forum community together--alternatives to Forumer. I would hate to do that because I'd like to see continuity. But we shall see what the future holds.
