hello. i was so stupid to accidently put myself (my user) from the admin group to the moderators group. I am (was) the only admin and now I lost the access to the AdminCP and all admin privileges!

so now my forum has no admin at all. I tried to regain admin level with the FAP, but it's not working. It shows me as the Owner of the Forum, but when I try to "Create an OWNER account" it says that it "Could not confirm ipb admin access level." . that's not so hard to believe - I removed my admin priviliges myself

!

so tell me please what to do, because it's an important College forum and it would take serious effort to rebuild it from scratch. I believe that the SiteSupport could do the job if they are willin to help

There has been others with the same problem in the FAP department ( I am one of them)

Hopefully it will be dealt with...

FAP is the only way to do that, but it's buggy.

Maybe the fSupport can do this for you, just wait until they notice this thread and see.
