Default Disabled New Regs Change of Message

Hi everyone,

I have recently disabled new registrations in my board since I want an invite only board.

When a potential member clicks on the Register button they receive this report:

Board Message
Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.

The error returned was:

The board administrator is no longer accepting any new registrations at the moment.

Where is the source to change the above message? I want to add maybe a pic, and an extra note to let the potential member know that they need to email the Administrator to start the process of registration.

Thanks for your help.

You disabled new registration... ofcourse noone can register in your board.

Enable it and the best way for you to validate the new Registration is by going to your AdminCp->Security and Privacy and under the following option.. Choose the Admin Validation
Quote:
New registration email validation?
Make admin manually preview all new accounts or make new users validate their email address
In this case.. all new registered user can actively participating in your forum once you accepted their registration. Same way, you can deny other registration if you want.

Also allow the validating username to use PM... if you want them to send you PM about their registration.

Hope this helps

The average error message is embedded in the php source files which you have no access to.

Now my boards on server 9 and 3 were in "This option is temporarily disabled" situation. So I can not check where to edit it. I think you can change that message.
When the hack problem is over, remind this.

Not exactly the answer I was looking for, but you have given me some great ideas on how to improve some aspects of what I had in my mind with my board. Thanks.

That's right duy. That's what I was looking for. Where to edit it in my HTML Templates. But if what Edwin said is the case, then I guess I wont be able to edit the message.

I am not 100%, you might want FMODS to have a look at it. Certainly in later versions of IPB this is the case.

Read my post above again. Remind this as soon as hack was solved.
