I did that but it will not let me post the HTML I have

You have to enable [dohtml] for two things:
1. the user group
2. the specific forum

Did you try that? If not, read the instructions again and retry the steps. Or you have to wait for a support staff or a more experience member like MasterVision to assist you. I just enabled mine a few days ago, and it works like a charm. Wish you good luck.

always enclosed your codes with [dohtml] tag when you want to post html
