hey, i have a problem with admins stuff.....





how do i make a user admin? i figured it out before, but i have frgotten now *sigh*

Hello,

Here are the steps to adding a user to an administrator.

Please note that other users can demote you to a user and possibly ban you from your own forum. Make sure that you have fully trust this member before making such a choice and make sure that you are registered for the FAP account as well. More details regarding the FAP account can be found in the announcements forum.

My advice is don't. But if you must, yeh, set up your FAP before you do it, and register a troll (another account) that never posts, so you can "FAP" it to administrator externally if your chosen assistant admin flips out and tries to take over. You never really know someone.

Always have another account of yours that is set up as admin so that you can use it at all times. Keep your username that you had as the main admin account and only login with that one if somebody has been trying to hack your other account. That way you can get whoever it is who is trying to hack your forum. As what BQ is saying, register with FAP and you will not have any problems.
