Exclamation Just a few questions
Hi. I'm new to the forums and I have a few questions.


Please keep in mind i just registered and setup the forum(nothing added yet)




1. Is there anyway to prevent people from joining until i'm done?

2. Are there any good security addons?(such as ip address searchers or blockers)

3. Can anyone recommend some good addons?

4. Is my domain already setup? or do I need to register that as well?

1. Disable board
2. no there isn't but I recommend that you put these emails in the ban section of your forum in admin cp.
*@cashette.com, *@mail.ru, *@iespana.es, *@yandex.ru, *@mail15.com, *@gawab.com, *@sriaus.com, *@f*ckshemale.net [erase * and add u], *@portsaid.cc, *@pisem.net, *@ukr.net, *@mymail-in.net, *@sibmail.com, *@list.ru, *@sanaa.cc, *@thecannabishunter.com, *@ua.fm, *@casino-poker-web.com, *@russsearch.com, *@freenet.de, *@users.1go.dk, *@megabox.ru, *@kisenfad.com, *@nakedworldcelebrities.com, *@neomailpro.com, *@paymailpro.org, *@osfind.info, *@xsecurity.org, *@mymondemand.biz, *@inbox.ru, *@bk.ru, *@ya.ru, *@pspdrive.net, *@uscreditdepot.com, *@.ru, *@bestboyfilms.org, *@phreaker.net, *@medicinese.org
By blocking these addresses it will stop spammers from annoying your members.
3. You might want to join up at fmods.com to look for those addons.
4. You have to register for a new domain. Google some free ones up.

Just to clear things up, Forumer provides a number of subdomains free with your forum. However, if you would like your own domain name such as yourforum.com, you will need to buy one through another site and then set it up with our fDomains feature.
