Sorry if this is a stupid question.. I could not seem to find anything like it while doing a search in your FAQ's, so here goes:

How many characters are allowed in a URL? The name I wanted to use wouldn't fit in the box next to ".forumer.com".. is there a way to adjust the length to fit the name I want?

There are 18 letters in the name I want.

18 letters is fairly large for a URL, and would be a hassle to anyone having to type it in whenever they wish to view your forum. In my opinion, you should either shorten it and stick with it, or shorten it and get a domain name/ redirector such as .tk, .co.nr, or anything else like that. This will cloak the original one, and can make it look more professional.

Just a thought.
