| Member  |  I have searched this section without finding a topic about it, so I'll make a new one. I'm an admin for a forum, but even though we have set the correct boxes to this; Allow users to browse the Active Users list? Yes Disable root admin group viewing anonymous online users? No Disable root admin group viewing online users IP address in online user list? No ... I still don't get that " * " with the anonymous users' names. Would anyone have an idea about this? Feel free to put exactly how you have your settings made for this function to work. Thank you. |

| Active Forumer  | I'm not sure if there even is an asterix by the invisible users' names at IP boards... Either you see them (No) or you don't (Yes), but I don't think there is an asterix to indicate who is what. |

| Junior Forumer  | Alright, I think those were a little confusing, so I'll summarize it as best as I can.... If you change the settings that Kiyobi quoted to "No", then you will be able to see anonymous (or "invisible") users. If they do not log in anonymously (or check the box that says "Stay hidden from active user list"), then they will not have an asterisk. So, if there isn't an asterisk, the member logged in so that they would be "visible". Was that better, or am I a total waste of time? |
