| Junior Forumer ![]() | 1. New users signing up on my board (http://bma.1.forumer.com) automatically receive an account at forumer.com community (They have a link in their profile to their extended profile). Will older members also be able to have an extended profile? Is it possible to link a board-profile with an extended profile? I mean, on my board I am Dimitri, but on forumer.com community, I call myself DimitriSC (Dimitri was already taken). Can these 2 user names be linked, so that a link to DimitriSC automatically appears in the Dimitri profile? I know that this would ask a lot of the staff. A temporary solution might be that I ask my members to create an account with the forumer.com community and ask them to put the link in their board-profile. 2. Since the update of your site, it is now possible to have an extended profile. This was a request by lots of users. So thank you for doing that. However, I don't really like the way it is handled now since it only works for new registrations. I would like to see something that works for everyone (for example: custom fields, so the admin of each board can determine what they need. On my board I could add a field with "Favourite band:", while another admin on another board might want to add "Favourite footballclub:" ) But anyway, thanks for the improvements. Keep up the good work!!! Greetz, Dimitri |

| Senior Forumer ![]() | Hello, 1) No, if a user signs up a on forumer hosted board then they don't acutally get an account here on the main boards, they must sign up agian here if they would like to be a member of this community. All members will be able to use the extended profile (once it's released). And no the two user names can not be linked sorry. 2) Thanks for your kind words, and I agree with you, I actually think limez and the development team are still tweaking some features so wait and see some of the up and coming stuff forumer will have to offer. Does this clear up your question(s)? Hemidol |

For all new users, a link to the extended profile is automatically added in the board-profile. For example here: http://bma.1.forumer.com/index.php?showuser=46 Do you understand what I mean, Hemidol? Greetz, Dimitri PS: DimiTest has already been deleted, it was a test account.

Anyways it's an excellant way to promote the main forumer community. But as for your questions, it's not possible to link more then one account. And for the new sign-up feature's (the extended profile) I'm not really sure about that, this is more limez and the development teams sector. Anymore question(s) feel free to ask. ![]() Hemidol

| Guest | Sorry couldn't get to this earlier. Yes as of right now, the new registrations automatically receive an invitation to setup their Forumer Extended Profile. However, we're working on sending an invitation to All 100,000 old members, so they can setup their FEPs and upload their pics. Once this is done, there will be a link on their profile to the FEP, and on FEP a link back to their profile. So basically just hang tight, we should do this within a day or two ![]() |
