Thanks for the replies folks.

It only seemed to last for an hour or so but a few of the members reported it.

However, tonight I am getting this message a lot

"Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (11)"

I can't explain that one. All servers should be online, according to the server status page.

Just wait for a staff member to come across this thread, you might get a better explanation then.

By the looks of these help forums, this is something that doesn't go away. It really stinks because I use yahoo to build my website and it doesn't allow you to insert message boards in sitebuilder. These forumer.com boards seemed like a cool way to get around it, but it looks like I am in for a big site rebuilding lesson, because I can't have this happening all the time!!!!

Same here. I am having second thoughts about my forum too. It looked excellent at first but I guess my lesson is I should have checked out these support forums first!
I now I have only had the forum three days but every night I have had trouble with it and it doesn't look to good in the members eyes does it!

I have been using these forums for about 3 months. Had this problem in the very beginning, then it was fine until now. We run motorcycle races and they start in a week, and everyone has questions about the weather because we have snow on the ground. I have a buddy in the website business, I guess I will be giving him a call!

Question To Many Connections, Error?
Forgive me if this has been asked, but I didn't see it.

Lately, over the last several weeks, I have been seeing more and more sql to many connection errors. I have also noticed that the forums slow to a crawl during these times actualy timing out on most functions. Needless to say these are most annoying not only to me as Admin, but to people who stop by for a visit.

Is this issue being looked into?
