i've had my board offline for a while so i've only just noticed this..
all my emoticons are unable to load and the error is "check html_dir" when i'm in the admin cp section..I've seen other threads about this too, but not any recent ones...i cant add any either btw.
my forum is crackedatom.1.forumer.com

I've got the same error on chaos2003.1.forumer.com

It says:

I've never changed the path, tough. And I didn't have the board offline like crackedatom did. The emoticons just stopped working, about four months ago.

go to HTML-Then I think properties. if it says safe mode in all of them you are on safe mode

on HTML settings it says this:


on edit properties, it doesn't say anything about safe mode, and there are a lot of options under Manage HTML.

Edit: Maybe the option is under System settings - General configuration - Global skin settings.
There's an option "Use safe mode skins?", and it's set to Yes.

This has been an ongoing problem on server 1, ever since I signed up. I've haven't seen a solution before.

http://bilky.1.forumer.com (but don't bother going, I used it for testing.)


I don't care if you abuse English; we've stolen 99% from other languages anyway!

well, I've given up now and moved my forum because I can't have a forum here with the same name. You can't choose which server you'd like when signing up anymore. I'll try switching to the phpBB hosted here
