Hi there.

I have problems on http://zeplins.17.forumer.com
This is the first forum I set up. I don't know if I did something wrong but I have a couple of problems with my forum.

1. About half of the members can't access the forum. After they log in, all they get is a white screen.
Their firewalls have been disabled. Is there anything else they can have a look at?
I also had to disable the e-mail verification system as almost no-one got the confirmation e-mails.

2. Sometimes when posting or sending a PM the following error message appear:

"Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 502 5.5.2 Error: command not recognized
DEBUG MODE
Line : 126
File : smtp.php"

3. No matter how many times I've tried, I can't set up my e-mail addy in fsettings.

4. When I post a link like:

it is supposed to show a clickable thumbnail. Instead it shows the thumb and the link next to it.

I also wondered if there are a way to implement a warning system for spammers/flamers and if I can send group e-mails from the forum.

Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

1st problem is most likely because of some sort of permission error

2 and all the rest might be a mod installed wrong or a mod not for that version of IPB that has happened to me before and it was just a mod i put in and it got all messed up!

Yes i think that is the problem

1. Can I change permissions somewhere? or is it on the user's PC?
2. I haven't installed any mods.. exept a skin and I changed that to see if it could be that.

Any other suggestions?

You must change the permission from the Admin CP. In Manage Forum, on the Permission setting, you must choose which action is allowed from each group.

OK I had a look and all the permissions are correct. Problems persist however.
